What is love? baby don't hurt me
What are Love Points?
There's a game-wide event coming up that I want to leave my character out of. What do I do?
My character has been injured/has died! What happens to them?
They end up in Dite's temple until they're healed. It won't take long. As for deaths? Dite's going to go talk Persephone into bribing Hades to give your character their life back. It won't be an instant fix. Your character will feel ill in some way (of your choosing) for a week.
But what if they were murdered?
The above still applies. As for the murderer? Well...
The Goddess that runs the place and the Gods that begrudgingly let her are vindictive, vengeful beings. Murderers will go punished. And this will be talked out between mods and muns so as to not do something people are uncomfortable with. Please remember that Gods run this place and such stuff won't go unpunished.
Can my character retain knowledge of other games they've been in?
Absolutely!
My character has fallen head over heels for someone. What happens when our characters leave?
What? You think Aphrodite is going to separate two (or more) people in love? Your characters go home together to live happily ever after. (or not. it's really up to the muns.)
Can/Should my character get a job?
Everything is taken care of by Aphrodite'sNPC Followers. So, they don't have to get a job. However, it's probably wise if they do. It's a good way to earn Dite's favor. Get a job, help keep things running and happy and she'll probably be more inclined to do things for you if you ask.
Also, it should be noted that you can't lose your job if you're Encouraged and can't come in that day. She'd much rather you be at home with your sweethearts, racking up Love Points, than stuck in some boring job. And if you can't come in that day due to a case of Encouragement, you won't lose your job, either.
If I don't want to actually fully thread out sex...
FTBs are fine. We don't care.
Are OC's allowed?
Yes. As long as their universe is explained in your app. While you may understand where your character comes from, please try to remember that we won't know so give us details.
What about AU's?
Same as above regarding OCs. Explain their universe to us and point out where it alternates. Please make it make sense to us.
Who are the other Gods?
Aside from Aphrodite, we also have Poseidon who doesn't entirely approve of the experiment. But, he does have a hand in keeping the weather just right and the oceans nice enough to swim in at any time.
Unfortunately, he's also a curmudgeony old jerk and has been known to cause hell a time or two to make a point. What that point is, it's probably not obvious. Just be careful. When Poseidon gets in a mood, the entire island feels it.
